Hello, I'm Dana Rogers

Welcome to Genuine Tutors. Below you'll find a bit about my background, passion and experience.

My Story

I have extensive background across the spectrum of teaching. After finishing college with a B.S./B.A. in Biology & Spanish with minors in Chemistry and Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina in 1996, my experience can be found in many kinds of classrooms.

Teaching in high school, at risk gifted teen enrichment programs, community literacy efforts, elementary school science labs and even yoga for children decorate my background. I take pride in working with the outside of the box learners who need a different perspective to thrive.

My specialties are natural science, Spanish, language arts and social studies. Additional focus on study skills, proof reading and organizational methods for school success are also part of my concerns. I can be found bike riding, swimming , gardening & creating in my free time. I live with Shawn, two young teens and a myriad of pets in East Johns Creek.
